Effective October 14, 2025, Microsoft officially ended security updates and support for Windows 10.
What Does This Mean for You?
If you or your company is currently using Windows 10, it is strongly recommended that you upgrade to Windows 11. However, some devices may not meet Windows 11’s stricter hardware requirements.
If your computer is incompatible, you have a few options:
Upgrade your hardware to a Windows 11–compatible device.
Switch to an alternative operating system that continues to receive updates and support.
Opt-in to extended Security updates for $30 for home users and $61 per device for Businesses. For the first Year.
Option 3 is only recommended for Users and Businesses who need time to move their data to a new device. It is not recommended long term.
